Photos
1-3 are, yes, more San Francisco night shots.
Photos
4-10
were taken on New Years Eve. These are taken from Treasure Island,
looking back at San Francisco. The two dead pixels really stand
out in these shots. They were all shot in shutter priority mode with
1-2 second exposures, with white balance set to 5500 °K. Firework
shots remain a major difficulty for me! These are my best ones,
and they're a bit blurry! It's hard to practice when these are so
rare!
Photos
11-15 show the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines (awesome hotel)
on the Torrey Pines golf course.
Photos
16-18 were taken at my alma mater, UC San Diego.
Photos
19-26 illustrate why I love San Diego. The drive up to Julian
(home of apple pie) is amazing -- the climate and landscape changes
again and again over the one hour drive. From desert to grassy plains
to forest and back again -- this drive doesn't disappoint. Take
a sidetrip up to Mt. Laguna and find yourself over 6,000 feet above
sea level - with the mountains and ocean to the west, and the desert
to the east.
Photo
27 was taken from the Scripps Institute of Oceanography.
Photos
28-31 were taken in Balboa Park in San Diego.
Photos
32-34 are from Coronado Island (including the famous Hotel del
Coronado).
Photos
35-38 are from the new Int'l terminal at SFO.
Photos
39-42 were taken at my parents' house. Note the usual cat pictures.
I've
noted any special modes I used underneath the photo.
