DCRP Review: Nikon D70s

by Jeff Keller, DCRP Founder/Editor
Last Updated: April 6, 2008

You read our review of this camera, right?

The photographs below were taken at default settings, with the ISO fixed at 200, unless otherwise noted. The image quality and resolution were at their highest levels. The lens used for all of these photos was the Nikon 18-70 F3.5-4.5G kit lens.

Photos 1-5 were taken in Chinatown.

Photo 6 was taken here in Brentwood, CA.

Photos 7-8 were taken at Crissy Field.

Photos 9-13 are from Stanford University.

Photos 14-15 were taken from the Marina Green.

Photos 16-18 show the Kaboom fireworks show. I took them from a pier off the Embarcadero.

Photos 19-20 were taken here at home.

Clicking on the thumbnail will display a reduced, 800 x 600 image. Clicking on the link below that will show the full-size (large!) image. Please do not judge the photo quality from any image except for the full-size image, as these smaller images were recompressed when they were downsized.

I've noted any special modes I used underneath the photo. You can click on "View EXIF data" to get additional information about each photo.
