DCRP Review: Nikon D2X

by Jeff Keller, DCRP Founder/Editor
Last Updated: May 11, 2005

Our review of this camera will most likely be posted in June. In the meantime, enjoy these sample photos.

The photographs below were taken at default settings, with the ISO fixed at 100. The image quality and resolution were at their highest levels.

Photos 1-4 were taken in Chinatown. Lens used: Nikon 17-55 F2.8G

Photos 5-7 were taken at Crissy Field. Lens used: Nikon 17-55 F2.8G

Photos 8-14 are from Stanford University. Lens used: Nikon 17-55 F2.8G

Clicking on the thumbnail will display a reduced, 800 x 600 image. Clicking on the link below that will show the full-size (large!) image. Please do not judge the photo quality from any image except for the full-size image, as these smaller images were recompressed when they were downsized.

I've noted any special modes I used underneath the photo. You can click on "View EXIF data" to get additional information about each photo.
