DCRP Review: Nikon Coolpix SQ

You read our review of this camera, right?

The photographs below were taken at default settings, with the ISO fixed at 100. The image quality and resolution were at their highest levels.

Photos 1-7 were taken in and around Chinatown.

Photos 8-10 were taken along the Embarcadero.

Photos 11-12 were taken at my future home.

Clicking on the thumbnail will display a reduced, 800 x 600 image. Clicking on the link below that will show the full-size (large!) image. Please do not judge the photo quality from any image except for the full-size image, as these smaller images were recompressed when they were downsized.

I've noted any special modes I used underneath the photo. You can click on "View EXIF data" to get additional information about each photo.

This indoor flash shot beautifully illustrates the two big photo quality issues: noise and dust particle reflection.
