Review: Nikon Coolpix 3500 by Jeff Keller, DCRP Founder/Editor Last Updated: Sunday, December 15, 2002 You read our review of this camera, right? Photos 1-5 were taken at the SF Int'l Auto Show. What a frustrating experience trying to photograph cars! Since there is no shutter speed control, I was at the mercy of whatever the CP3500 wanted to use. That was usually way too slow, so most of my shots were blurry. Also, it ramps up the ISO automatically leading to very noisy shots. Photos 6-9 are from Yerba Buena Gardens, up on top of the convention center. Photos 10-15 are from Crissy Field. Clicking on the thumbnail will display a reduced, 800 x 600 image. Clicking on the link below that will show the full-size (large!) image. Please do not judge the photo quality from any image except for the full-size image, as these smaller images were recompressed when they were downsized. I've noted any special modes I used underneath the photo. You can click on "View EXIF data" to get additional information about each photo.
