Unless otherwise noted, photos are taken at ISO 100 with the image quality set to the highest level. All other settings are at their default values.
Photos 1-5 were taken in Chinatown. Lens used: Canon F3.5-5.6, 18 - 55 mm IS.
Photos 6-18 were taken in and around Death Valley National Park. Lens used: Canon F3.5-5.6, 18 - 135 mm IS. I used the Landscape Picture Style for all of these.
Photos 19-23 are from Stanford University. Lens used: Canon F3.5-5.6, 18 - 55 mm IS.
Clicking on the thumbnail will display a reduced, 800 x 600 image. Clicking on the link below that will show the full-size (large!) image. Please do not judge the photo quality from any image except for the full-size image, as these smaller images were recompressed when they were downsized.
