You
read our special review of this camera, right? I apologize for
the lack of any flash photos. I had the 1Ds for a very short
amount of time and never got around to taking any!
The
photographs below were taken at default settings with a Canon 28-135
IS USM lens.

1-6 were taken at Stanford University.
Photos
7-8 were taken in the Presidio Heights neighborhood of
SF.
Photos
9-17 are from the Oakland Zoo. Taking pictures at the zoo is
hard! Animals rarely stay still, and many are behind fences which
make photographing them difficult.

Clicking on the link below that will show the full-size (large!)
image. Please do not judge the photo quality from any image
except for the full-size image, as these smaller images were
recompressed when they were downsized.
I've
noted any special modes I used underneath the photo. You can
click on "View EXIF data" to get additional information
