Sony has released a number of firmware updates for their Alpha mirrorless and translucent mirror cameras, as well as for several E-mount lenses. The biggest update is for the NEX-7. Changes include the ability to disable the movie recording button, wider bracketing options, improved image quality with wide angle lenses, faster image review performance, and more.

The SLT models (a37, a57, a65, a77) also get updates that allow you to disable the movie button, and they also provide correction data for several recently announced lenses.

Finally, there's an update for four E-mount lenses, which adds support for the Hybrid AF system used by the NEX-5R and NEX-6. The affected lenses are the 18-55, 55-210, 18-200 zooms as well as the 24mm prime.
