Default Digitrex CD

I also have a 3000 model, with no installation CD, have you ever found where to get it?

I am new to the site and would really appreciate the help on this, without it it makes it a real pain running back and forth to Kinko's for copies of my pic's.
Thanks, if you can help me!!!

This camera does not have a USB connector and thus needs no CD. Use the SD card in a card reader to transfer images.

I just bought the digitrex dsc-3000 it has a USB 1.1 port, and a video port. It also an sd card slot. It came with a CD, I'll e-mail the november guy that I have one -- in case he still needs a copy.

Everything so far on this camera works great (for the price). It takes decent pictures 3.2 mp. They store as jpgs. It takes 320 video it stores as avi. And it has a PC camera mode when plugged into the usb port. Or it will look like a removable drive plugged into the usb port.

It does not have terrific auto exposure capability, and no optical anything, so when using the flash or shooting in artifical light you need to select what you are doing manually.

All that said, I have not been able to view the avi files after they transfer to my pc. The windows player plays them, with the slide bar indicator sliding, but the picture is just black in Windows player. I must be missing a codec or something. I reinstalled everything from the cd and still they don't play.

Get the necessary cable here: http://www.pccables.com/cgi-bin/orders6.cgi?action=Showitem&partno=70595&rsite=f.7 0595

Once you plug it in, the computer should recognize the camera and you should be able to copy the images.

Contact Digitrex for a CD here: http://www.digitrex.net/Contact.asp

Default error message

I have just started using a DIGITREX DSC-3000 and I was trying to get my pictures off the camera. I was using a USB cord and it looked like a removable drive on my computer. I couldn't get any pictures to transfer. I had given up and I just pulled the cord out. I didn't turn my camera off before I took the cord out.

I'm pretty sure that I lost my pictures, and now on the camera is has a red error message. It won't let me take any more pictures. Does anyone know of a way to reset the camera, or to get rid of the error message? Thanks in advance for the help, I appreciate it.

I feel a bit sheepish, but I figured it out and got the camera to be unfrozen. Thanks anyway.
