Question Sigma 18-125 DC lens on Canon 10D?

I am new here. I have a 10D using the Canon 28 to 105 Ultrasonic lens and the Sigma 70-300 Macro lens. I will be doing some free lance photography soon with a local car show, and I'd like to have a wider angle lens. I bought my 10D only a few months ago through a local camera shop I work at part time, so my lenses are good. We now carry the Sigma 18-125 DC lens and it looks like a good all around choice. I am on a budget.

My question: have any of you used the Sigma 18-125 DC lens? Do you know of any distortion, color shift, etc. with it? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. We are going on a trip next week and I'm tempted to get one. Decisions, decisions. Thanks.

I have "retired" the 18-70 Nikkor lens in favor of the Sigma 18-125 DC on my D70. Frankly, the overall quality is about the same, and I really love the extra range of the Sigma.

There are a couple of shots on smugmug using the Sigma lens with more to come.
