They're all the same. Shops on Nathan Road are most (in)famous. Bait & switch heaven. No scruples. Master con artists! They never worry about ripping people off today because they know there will be additional planeloads/boatloads tomorrow. No worrying about repeat business.
As long as your money is in your pocket, you are O.K. KEEP YOUR MONEY IN YOUR POCKET !!!
This is how it works. You make a good or even excellent deal on the item you want. They want you to pay for it while they call a runner to bring your item from their warehouse. They tell you your item will be at the store in 10-15 minutes. Very soon, or immediately, after you've paid they tell you that you don't really want the item that you've agreed upon & paid for. They tell you how poor it is(doesn't matter what it is). They tell you that you really want another item. If you tell them you still want the original item, they check(right!) & say that it was available, but they've just sold the last one, so it isn't available now. Forget about getting your money back. Isn't going to happen. You're forced to buy something else for a poor deal.
2 possible ways to possibly get a reasonable deal, not a good one. Buy a display item. It's at the store. You can see it & touch it. They'll probably say they can't sell display items. Or tell them to get the item first. Once it arrives then pay for it. It will never show up regardless of how long you wait.
If you do buy something, be sure you're getting all the attachments that should come with it. Very often something will be missing. Be sure you test the item out at the store before you pay.

If you're in the USA, buy the item in the USA. You've got some protection at least.
