Shutter noise from Kyocera SL400R

Hello,

Is there a way to stop the shutter from making noise for Kyocera SL400R? I do not need the optical zoom or digital zoom for some pictures. Yet the lens seems to constantly adjust making noise.
Btw, how does the camera sense that flash light is required? Can I disable it manually regardless of light conditions?
The noise is very low but still visible in quiet room. Any solution?
