Default A couple honeymoon pics

Taken in Aruba last December using a Canon Powershot A80. I know nothing about taking pictures so I always leave it on auto.

Those other pics are nice too.

Why do I need an SLR 20D if compact cameras can take such great photos too?

I'm in way over my head it would seem. I hope not.

My favorite is the ostrich (emu?). How much zoom was used on that? It seems you are really eyeball to eyeball with that guy.

I was about 2 feet away from the ostrich with no zoom. I cropped the image to center around its mean looking face.
