Default charger voltage USA - UK

What happens if I buy a digital camera from USA? Will I have to but a different charger for use in UK?

It depends. If it has a proprietry battery then the charger might well be rated at 100v - 250v in which case it'll work well in either country. If, however, it's rated at 110v only then one will need either a different charger or a converter.

Rhys,

In response to your signature...

Nikon for consumer dSLR, Pansonic for Ultra-zoom. Canon for everything else.

Have you checked out the A95? Yikes!

Actually, I find the video mode on my S1 is worth buying the camera just for that reason alone. The fuzziness in some images seems to be more of a focus problem, in my opinion. I know the videos are restricted in length to about 2 minutes per 256mb card but what super videos they are! Now if only I could get a 640mb memory card...
