Why so many reconditioned Kodak DX7590

I have been looking to buy a Kodak DX7590 and while checking the prices I find many that have been factory reconditioned. Is the DX7590 prone to problems? If so, what problems?
I presently have a Nikon Coolpix 4300 that I am happy with everything but the limited 3X optical zoom.
