Nikon Coolpix s10 information?

I was wondering if anyone has the S10 and can give me some information about it. I saw the picture gallery someone posted using the s10 and I have looked at that, I also posted in the "which should I buy" forum and have not recieved any comments about the nikon camera.

So if anyone has one, and would be willing to tell me how well it does and how they like it. The camera is not cheap, so I want to know everything I can about it before I invest money into it. The really appealing thing about the S10 is the size, the zoom, and the fact that it has vibration reduction features.

Also, a question I have for anyone who has the camera, is it neccessary to have an extra battery on hand for the camera? I think it'd be a good idea to have an extra just for incase, but I'm not sure if I should go ahead and buy that now or wait awhile and buy it later.
