Default D-Rebel Rebate Question

I'm a little unsure about the whole Rebel Rebate thing. If for example I bought the Rebel ($100 rebate), the 28-135mm lens ($15 rebate), and 16-35mm lens ($50 rebate), then I would triple the value of all three rebates and end up with $495 of total rebates?! Or did I get that wrong? At first I thought it was only triple the D-rebel rebate or a max savings of $300, but now I'm not sure. Also, does anyone know if these items have to be purchased from the same place/seller? Thanks!

Default I think that's the way it works

At least that how Bob Atkins interprets it.

Yes, that is correct. $495 is the total amount of rebates you will get back.
You triple every item since you have 3 items that is on the list and you bought them from authorized retailers. No, each item can be bought at any time. For example, you can buy the D-Rebel today, buy the 28-135 tomorrow at another store, and the 16-35 another day at another store, or you can just buy them all at once.

You can check for sure online. http://www.usa.canon.com/nfl/
1. Click on "Special Offers"
2. Click on "Cash in w/ canon"
3. Click on "View Elegible Products and Calc. Your rebate saving online.
4. From there, there should be a chart of qualifying items.
Check all the stuff you bought and it will tell you total rebate amount on the bottom.

Best of luck
