Default Flash Compatibility D70
I am looking at the D70 2 lens kit. I currently own a Panasonic FZ20 and for that camera I have a Vivitar 285HV flash.

My question is....will the Vivitar 285HV work with the D70?

You may get more answers on the Nikon dSLR board...

But, my answer is... probably not. I Recommend the SB600. Forget the 2 lens kit and buy the Nikkor 18-70 or Sigma 17-70 as a starter lens.

I agree with George. I have the 18-70 and SB-600, and both are great products i-TTL is a beautiful thing!
