Question Nikon Coolpix 7600 SD Card

I have just purchased a Nikon 7600 online which takes an SD memory card but does not come with one. I have looked everywhere to find what is the maximum size card this camera will take. No luck on Nikon or any other site.
I want to purchase before camera arrives as internal memory is only 14MB.
Will the 7600 take 1 GB? 2GB?, less?

Can anyone help?

Thanks, BluewaterBridge

You should be fine with anything up to 2G. There are filesystem issues with 4G cards on some cameras, don't know about the Nikons. The 4G cards work, but you won't be able to format if they get corrupted. But you'll be fine with 1 or 2 gig.

Thanks Dave. I thought it would be good for 1 Gig at least but your recommendaton of up to 2 Gigs puts my mind at ease. Strange that even the Nikon wedsite specs did not mention it. Thanks again.
