Default Atiger 12MP

I need help. I purchase my camera off ebay about two months ago; however, when I try to take pictures indoors they always come out very dark even with the flash. I can never see the face of the people when I take their picture indoors. Outdoors is fine. What can I do to be able to take pictures and actually see them indoors? HELP PLEASE, I am STOMPED

Just a gut feeling: it's not you. It's the camera.
People just don't know what they are getting when buying cheap Ebay cameras 10MP+....
You'd just think: I only want a basic camera and it can't be that bad. It can.
