Default Rebel conversion

Reading around the usenet, I came accross and interesting site: http://www.bahneman.com/liem/photos/...el-tricks.html. Apparently it's possible to convert a D300/Rebel to work more along the lines of a D10.

Everything there sounds feasible but with all the Microsoft and mobile phone cracks that I've seen that haven't worked, I wouldn't dare try this myself.

I was wondering if anybody had tried it and what the result was - did you get a D10 in a D300 body or did you end up with landfill?

I don't know the answer to your question but there have been many messages in the Rebel forum at http://www.dpreview.com I'm sure you will find plenty of info there.
