Nikon D50 w/Quantaray 28-90mm lens!!!!!help

I want to buy a Nikon D50 with Quantaray 28-90mm F3.5-5.6 lens from Ritzcamera.com. Does someone has this configuration tell me. What do you think of it in terms of picture quality, zoom/focus speed???

I believe they are running a sale for 549.99 shipped, right? I'm not familiar with that lens, but at that price I say go for it, that's almost what I paid for my D50 body alone ($520)! If you don't like the lens you can always upgrade it later.

Why settle for a crappy lens? What is the in-store return policy? Online is 10 days. Of course, everone else is 699 for D50 with nikon kit lens as all the sales at the big box stores were last week so does nothing for their price match guarantee.
