Is there anything available like this? if you flip a telephoto lens around it becomes wide. Is there anything that you can just unscrew it flip it around and screw it back in the other way?
Well there are few options that have both wide and zoom capabilities in one lens such as the Nikon 18-200 VR, with Canon and other 3rd party makers having similar options. Check them out. Im assuming you have a DSLR by the way.
It may take a bit of looking, but there are adapters that actually screw on to the front of the lens, like a filter ring and then allow you to reverse the lens and bayonet it into your camera body. You, of course, lose the AF and metering data... and also trust your lens' filter threads to support and hold the relatively massive weight of the lens.
Blessed are the those who have faith... because if you do this with a good-sized zoom... you will need it. TIMBER!!!

humm, i dont remember posting this in this section. I thought it was just the general topics section. Unless it was moved? I was just searching for it and thought it was deleted.
Normaly the wide front has a huge front size and the telephoto has a smaller one. This is just for a P&S camera but i just wondered why there wasnt a lens that could do this. Since its a P&S (A70) it doesnt need a large barrel. It could be the same on both sides.
Like I mentioned in my earlier reply, what you are looking for is a reversing ring. These were available for FD lenses on Canon and also on Pentax and Nikon.
Although I have never used one, I have seen them available on eBay
