Question Optimus digital video camera

When I shoot a video it is not always light- is there a light on the camera that can be turned on so i can film a video at night?

Flashes on still cameras are strobes, they only illuminate for a very brief period of time. If you want lighting for video they won't work. There's really nothing on the camera that will help you, an external light source is needed.

Or a real video camera that is much better at low light recording.
