Default Deleting picture before it is saved

I just upgraded from an R707 to R717. With my old camera, right after I took a picture, if I didn't like it I just pressed the menu button and was able to delete the picture before it was actually saved to the SD card.

With the R717 when I press the menu I get the Capture menu. Is there a setting I missed that I need to do?

Page 34:
After a picture is taken, the image appears for several
seconds on the Image Display. This is called Instant Review.
You can delete the image during Instant Review by pressing
the < button, then selecting This Image in the Delete submenu.
TIP: You can change the length of time images are displayed
in Instant Review using the Setup Menu. See Instant
Review on page 125.
