Default FZ-30 downloading video's

Hi,
I've just bought an FZ-30 and I've taken some video on the movie setting and when I downloaded it to the computer it all saved, but when I tried putting the video onto Windows movie maker, it says that those files aren't supported and can't be imported and was wondering if I'm just saving them wrong or if there is some other reason for this.

What, in your opinions, are the best programs for making DVD's on the Aussie market. I've heard that "Pinnicle" is pretty good.

The FZ30 uses Quicktime movie format and the Microsoft Movie Maker does not support MPEG4. The disks that came with the camera would have a Quicktime player included and you can also download it off the net.
