Default FZ30 vs Rebel XT article

I remember reading one that some one posted but I can't find it for the life of me. Does anyone have a link to it? Thanks.

It's an interesting read and makes some good points, but I'd still be wary of any serious article that's posted on what appears to be a hardcore gaming site.

I would be wary of the price comparisons because it's a myth that you have to spend $4500 on DSLR equipment to replicate the FZ30. That's simply not true. A more fair comparison would be to test the FZ30 against a D50 + 18-200 VR combination which only costs about $1250-$1300. In that way, we're at least comparing a $1300 set with equivalent zoom and IS with a $650 camera rather than a $4500 set with a $650 camera, making it really a moot point and a "duh" kind of conclusion to come to.
