Digitrex DSC-3000 Error Message

Hi guys, newbie here.

My husband and I got us a Digitrex DSC-3000 last week. We also got a 128MB Impact Memory Card. The problem is, when I turn on the camera, and put it on Memory Card it says Error on the screen. Once in a while I get lucky and it works. I've even took pictures and saved them on Memory Card.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!
