Default Please help! Olympus 8080 or Minolta A2?

Please help!! Which one out of these should I get?
I like the Minolta's features the best, but I have read about image softness and quality control issues, whereas the Olympus seems to be worse in controls but just as good (or better?) in the images department.

I am interested in image quality more than anything else. Which one has the better optics and which one is actually sharper/better?

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Nick

If Minolta could fix the focus issues with the A2, I'd recommend it without hesitation. With those problems, however, I'd have to recommend the 8080, much as I like the 7/A series. Jeff, any word from Minolta about solving these issues?

Minolta's A2 has some Q/C + focus issues...whereas the 8080 supposedly has a confusing/hard to efficently use menu system. I had and would go for the 8080 if I needed to pick ( again )
