Default Sony Cybershot T7 vs. Canon SD450

I know the T7 is thin as all heck, but it's been annoying me lately. Indoor shots are TERRIBLE.. The flash is tiny so the room barely lights up. I finally had it when I was trying to take pictures of my basement's poorly-lit pool table room.

I love Canon cameras, and I saw a deal on Dell where I can get an SD450 for $300 shipped. Now, my question is this... are indoor and night shots better than the T7's? I'm going to Vegas for new years, so GOOD night shots are a must... I also tend to end up at parties a lot, which requires indoor shots to be good, as well. I don't like red-eye at all, but I can live with it (I know all compact cameras have it). Please give me your opinion ASAP... The coupon expires October 18th!

The Canon SD450 has better image quality. Its 7mp sibbling SD500/550 has a stronger flash that the T7, I do not know if the SD400/450 one is comparable but you should be able to find the flash strength on Canon's site.
