Default how could i watch movies on a digitrex dsc-2100?

I know that most reviews of the Digitrex dsc-2100 are not great. But I have had for over 2 years and am happy with it. (2000+ pictures, 30 or more hours of video and counting)

Anyways what would make this the best camera in the world (for me!) would be if I could encode my movie .avi files into something the DSC-2100 could read, so I would have a portable video player as well. I looked at the .avi files the camera makes with Gspot and tried to encode some videos with the same specs but it will not play.

Does anyone know how to make an external video file playable on this camera?

Thanks
