Default Konica Minolta 5D and 35mm lens

My dad has a 12ish year old SLR 35mm AF camera. Can i use his 2 lenses on the Konica Minolta Maxxum 5D?

the 35mm camera is a Minolta Maxxum 7000 with the lens " AF lens 50"

You will be able to use the lens if it is a Maxxum A Mount lens. The Maxxum 7000 does use the A mount lens.

I love my 7D and from reading reviews on the 5D, I'd recommend it based on performance I have gotten with my 7D.
