Default Good art community sites?

I'm sick of deviantart...The site's fine, the features are fine, the community is godawful. Its been overrun by people with no concept of art, and the only way to get any form of attention is to either post pictures of kittens, or draw an anime woman with a chest the size of africa.

Does anyone know any half decent photography websites that haven't been overrun by morons?

Whats wrong with Flickr?

Any open website will more then likely suffer the same fate, i find dA features either a ton of anime, or just tits, anything female-sexy gets 2,ooo views pop. Thats all to be expected of a popular site though.

Arts and masses don't mix, Art has always been an Elitist pursuit so as soon as you open it to a large number of people it will dilute itself.

That being said, i like dA for some things and im learning to like flickr for others.

Photo.net is a semi-community-oriented site... problem is, the photos there will mostly make you want to sell your camera, erase your identity, and then curl up into a fetal ball and wail.

It's cool you've made it into something productive. I must just be allergic to living, or at least to life as seen through a viewfinder!

every time I go to dA I set it to photography only which even then its boobs.

flickr is good if you know how to use it, I only recently discovered "explore via months" and clicking each individual day, its the best way to find great shots because interestingness is predictable and explore any other way doesn't really give much.
