Unfortunately I decided not to do the comparison. There are a LOT of recent and soon-to-be announced cameras that I need to focus on. Sorry guys!

Default Yes, either a comparison or a searchable characteristic

Jeff,
Yes, I would be interested in a comparison of waterproof cameras.

My interest really is in one that's good for 'water exposed' (skiing; sailing) conditions and likely a P&S with moderate (at least 3X) zoom.
If your site had the ability to search / select by waterproof, that would be very acceptable.
If you get into comparisons, there might be at least two categories:
- waterproof like I want (i.e resistant to water exposure), and
- underwater

It might open the door to more Google hits by the millions of information hunters out there - a small percentage of whom are looking for exactly that comparison.

But if it means not covering your primary bases, as you've indicated, then it's probably a good call to skip it for now.

Default Waterproof Camera V Waterproof Case

I just went the other route and purchased a waterproof case for my Fuji F30

Will be testing it out in the Cook Islands next month. I can certainly see how buying a waterproof camera would be a "better" option. Buying a case is suited for one model of camera only...so if you break your camera in a non-water related incident, chances of the same camera still being on sale are pretty slim.
