There's probably a healthy reserve on them and if you notice, they seem to reach somewhat high prices by the end of the auction. I wouldn't be too bothered about these 99 cent offers. I'd go to a real shop where you know what you're getting is genuine and not secondhand.

I bought a few Sandisk 1GB Ultra II SDs for an average price of $55 each. Those starting at 99 cents will eventually go up to around $40-$80. Those sellers with high and good ratings should be quite trustworthy

You've conducted your eBay search by "lowest price to highest" so naturally you're going to see those .99 sales. Change your preference to "time: ending soonest" and you'll see those .99 sales closing out at well over that.

I've greatly enjoyed the many things I've bought over eBay in the last six years I've been a registered user. I've bought and sold and think it's a wonderful format.

Just last week I bought a Vivitar flash for my Nikon. According to Vivitar and several camera stores, the flash should have sold for $130.00. I bought it on eBay with shipping for $70.00.

BTW-Always be careful on eBay to check the seller's feedback. I never touch anyone with less than 99%. Also be sure and check costs for shipping. If a memory card does sell for $.99 but the shipping is like $25.00, there's a problem.
