    Desert Shots

Thanks Prospero and Toriaj for your comments. Oh for sure that first pic is oversharpened. aasagh. I took a pic from my gallery and resized it for here and obviously did an auto sharp on it. Terrible

Here are a couple more from the desert in Springtime. The last one was on the Arizona Parks Flower website.

Hey all! I got up early this morning to take some shots at Twin Lakes SB and the adjacent harbor. Here are a few of them. I was hoping for some advice regarding #2. There's a big dark spot in the sky and I was wondering if there's a way make it less glaring either through editing or while shooting. I'm pretty sure it's caused by the wide angle of view (16mm) combined with a circular polarizer. C&C are welcome as well.

Haven't taken much worth posting lately but still enjoying looking through the shots here. I just found an excellent website for walkers in the UK that has some terrific photographs on it. For anyone interested the site is www.stridingedge.net
I've only flicked back through some of the walks but found a lot worth looking at.
Around every picture there's a corner & round every corner there's a picture
    - the fun's in finding them

    Glacier National Park

    Hi All,

Surfing through looking for inspiration... some great shots here, gets me fired up.

Here's a shot I took at Kintla Lake in Glacier National Park.

Panasonic DMC FZ-8, ISO-100, f/6.3, 1 second exposure with 1 graduated ND8 filter and two solid ND8 filters (to get the water blurred). Levels and hue/saturation adjusted in Photoshop.

    Comments always appreciated.

    O.K. another try

O.K., lame I know, here I am replying to my own post

Anyway, any input on comparing this second attempt at both cropping and playing with levels and curves would be appreciated.

My gut reaction is the crop makes it better, the levels and curves is heavy handed.
