Here's a picture of the standing stones of Brodgar on the Orkney Islands (a group of islands above Great Britain).
It is a HDR made of a single raw file. I planned to use more than one picture, but for some reason I couldn't allign the different picture.
Nikon D-50
// Nikkor 70-300 f/4-5.6 VR // Nikkor 50 mm f/1.8
// Sigma 17-70 f/2.8-4.5 ...// Nikon SB-600
// Sigma 10-20 f/4-5.6......// Nikon Series E 135 mm f/2.8
// Kiron 105 f/2.8 Macro....// Manfrotto 190XPROB + 488RC4
// Nikkor 35 f/1.8..........// Sigma 500 mm f/8

Nice shot Dennis. Any chance of seeing that second picture?

Thanks Bynx.
There is no second picture, what I planned to do for this one was blend multiple exposures, but here I couldn't get that to work, so I made different exposures with the RAW converter.
Anyway, the technique I used is described in my HDR tutorial (link is in my signature).

Thanks Dennis, I'm glad you like it.
Here's another shot of the vacation, taken at Loch Ness.

Man, that's one of the best pictures I've seen here. Awesome!

Geoff, Nessie shows up same time every day. All you have to do is bribe her with Oreo cookies.

Thanks a lot for the compliment, iamaelephant
Thanks Geoff. Getting Nessy in the picture was really no big deal. If you drink enough whiskey, she will usually appear, sometimes with her sisters. Getting a picture of the phenomenon is a bit more difficult, though...
