    I love Arizona...

    Canon S2, ISO 50, f/3.5, 1/640 sec.
The one thing you don't run out of is things to shoot.

A very nice shot, looks like the area around Sedona. Like I've said before you and the S2 seem to get along just fine.

Thanks, JTL! It's one of my favorite shots, though you can see from the date stamp (which I neglected to erase before posting) that this was taken before digital! BTW, even though the Sierras are a 4-6 hour drive, I consider them my backyard!

I pretty much consider anywhere that I can drive to, and return, in a day as a "backyard".

I do miss the Sierra, but I've taken a liking to my new backyard as well. Maybe Tahoe next year.

Taken with my 20D and a Sigma 20mm f/1.8 at f/10. A polarizer was used to reduce the glare in the water and richen the colors. The images is a little contrasty, but I don't mind it too much.

This was taken at the Honokohau Bay in Maui, Hawaii.

This was taken at a view from the Nakalele Blowhole.

    Yip!

Here's from my mom's association playground. Sedona, AZ.

This was a timed shot - one of the last from my late Powershot S60. Not too bad, but DSLR is making quite a difference. Gotta take it out to visit mom some time soon...

    BTW, Nice shots ObiJuan.

And Phil - what lense was that on the top photo. Sheez, nice contrast! What's the trick?
