Nice shot K1W1, just drives me crazy though, that the horizon is not horizontal.

I'll try harder next time. I was waving my arms around trying to clear the fog to get a horizon but I was somewhat ineffectual.

However, to your credit, the verticular is vertical...

... Uh, I made that up. And (coming from me this means little) I don't see the tilt, even if I use the leveling/straightening function in NX2. Again this coming from "Mr. one degree".

It looks fine to me. The tilt is an illusion caused by the leaning of the tree into the scene and the slight, but obvious, downhill slop of the street to the left. I say this based on the small white reflector just by the tree seeming to be totally vertical. Same for the faint posts and signs in the fog across the road.

Damn, kgosden if you aren't correct. That white post is pretty much vertical as are the dandelion stems. Must be an optical illusion. Sorry for being critical, but I am just so dang fussy with myself about this.

Well said... and well done. In all three cases. Is that last shot from the southeast?

    Back to imagery versus wordsmithing.

The city CDB is virtually due west of the location. Unfortunately the weather the last week has been pretty ordinary as far as sunset photography is concerned and I missed the sun setting directly behind the city as it moves north. I'll have to wait another 6 months for it to come back south again.
