    Thanks Heather .
I took that picture with my old point and shoot, the Olympus C-450 (also known as D-565 or X-300 in other countries).

Wow, don't they ever run out of snow in Kharkiv, Kushnirenko? Great shot, by the way.
I hope I'll see as much snow on the ski pistes in Austria in two weeks time .

Here's a picture taken in quite a warmer temperature. You can see vineyards on the Mediteranean Coast. I took this picture in the Cinque Terre National park.

By the way, the cabin in the front has a sign in front of it saying Vende, which means it's either for sale or has just been sold (my Italian is not that good). So if anybody is interested in buying some property in Italy, this could be your chance .

That was really an old shot I took during my holiday last summer. Now it is winter in the Netherlands as well. There's no snow, though. So everything in Holland is now gray and gloomy. The surrounding here does not make much of a subject for photography at the moment.

Here's a shot I took in my hometown, Zoetermeer:

Bright and beautiful to take off not a problem. And to find in grey and ordinary a highlight...
The most difficult object of shot - a snow. It simply white...

Yes, I agree with you. Snow is really difficult to shoot. It's really difficult to give such a shot some depth and to avoid overexposure. Last year when I was on wintersports in Austria I threw away quite some shots because of a complete lack of depth. Fortunatly, there were still many pictures that were pretty nice.

Here's one I made in Austria last year:
