Great job on that composition. Did you end up backpacking in? It is really hard to find a whole lake that is perfectly still.

It is a nice shot, though I might prefer the glacier on the right to not obscure so much of the rest of the picture.

Stunning shots everyone. The glacier bits aren't something you see every day...
Critique most definitely desired...

Very nice guys. Ahh, the Sierra. Still have access to the cabin on the North Shore, so should go up there soon for a fall shoot.
Likewise, the glacier bits shot is stunning in its focus on the mini-bergs.

Yeah we backpacked in. 7.5 miles each way. I'm excited about all the location possibilities this opens up. I think the reflection is fairly common at this particular lake

The sunset went crazy in the Bay Area last night and I got to put the TS lens to use

Are you sure that you didn't hijack the Mars rover? I see you found a good use for the T/S lens.

Very nice Lucas. I was hoping for the same down here, but the fog bank got in the way, and killed most of the color.
Alviso has some really interesting areas.

Fog broke just in time up in SF. Heard there was a double complete rainbow over the city.

Ya gotta love late summer and fall in N. CA and the central coast. Bout time to shoot Moss Landing and Castroville.
