Yes it goes up Snowden which is 3,560ft high; the highest point in England and Wales. There are Steam, diesel and I believe a couple of electric engines and they have a rack and pinion drive.
Snowdon railway
We took the train up and walked down - there were hundreds of people walking up and down as well as the train passengers at the top.

Yes nice shots there raven, lovely clarity. What camera do you have now? I've lost track.

Erm... all these shots were with the E-410, except the last with the E-450. Those are my two cameras now, the E-620 is permanently dead in the water and "donated" back to Olympus. Curiously, I think I like the results from the E-410 better than the E-450.
