Thanks Adam. Yeah, we are very lucky! I just took a few shots of this sunrise. We were on our way to Point Reyes for a hike and I was way too cold to stand around for long. Pretty nice to be able to drive from one gorgeous spot to the next.

And the best ISO 3200 landscape shot ever. In fact, I like it better than the ISO200 shot I took a few seconds later when I noticed my camera was at a crazy ISO.
Raven, I do like that first one. I bet that would make a good B&W conversion. From what I have seen high ISO tends to only show issues when the scene needs the ISO to handle a low light situation. When it doesn't the noise rarely shows much.
I recently went for a train ride with the Tornado train for my Father in Law's
80th Birthday treat
I took various photos including some of the passing scenery through the
window of the train
I needed a very quick shutter speed for these and all I have done is a bit of white balance tweaking due to colouration from the windows in the train
Here's another from the same trip
This one I felt benefitted from cropping to a more pano
perspective
Again - very fast shutter speed in order to freeze detail

How do you like the lens now you've had it a while?
