This is my first time posting. Hope I am doing this right! Here are a couple photos I took during one of our rare snowstorms in the desert.

Yeah, that's too big. I usually limit my shots to 800 pixels. You can get away with making it a little bigger if it's a horizontal shot. When you post a huge shot like that it throws off the formatting of the page.

Lukas, it is indeed a great shot. The rocks in the foreground have a jewel-like quality. Personally I think the darkness in the hills is an important contributor to the mood and composition. The often striking levels of contrast in your pictures give them a chiaroscuro quality.

There you go. Nice shots. Maybe a bit underexposed, especially the 2nd one.
