thanks Lucas, this was the first time I noticed fall colors around, in the city I live trees are still greener than I would like them while no time for driving out to see more fall.
TheWengler, #1 is nice but it seems like a better execution might be possible (I can't say what). Great tones & colors & sun flare on #2, you have noticeably improved even in the last year I think (I don't remember any of your shots from this time 2008 having quite the same thing going for them). So if you had to choose only the top 100 of your shots how would you know which ones they were . BTW, do you correct lens distortion in camera, or is the 16-45 naturally distortion free?

Thanks Raven. I think things started clicking better late last year. I started to go out more and pay more attention to weather conditions.
Just take out all the bad ones and there would be about 100 left.
I usually correct distortion in PSE5 for anything taken at 16mm w/ a straight horizon. Everything else I just leave alone.

I could tell you but I wouldn't want you to get all pissy if it's the wrong brand
