Looking west towards Melbourne city from Lysterfield Park. The area the photo was taken from was totally burnt out in February 2009.

Here are two landscapes I took this month.
The first was taken one day after a storm:
This one was taken just a while after sunset. The sky still had some colour, but it was rapidly fading.

Wow, prospero, those are pretty nice! HDR, I assume?

Thanks Raven, the first and last two are HDRs. The second was made by editing one raw file in Capture NX.
Here are two more. The first is a blend of two exposures done in photoshop (not really an HDR). The second one is an HDR.

The second one is beautiful. I love the reflection off of the water.

This is from an interesting outing at Panther Beach. Had some rain, a rainbow, lightning, fireworks, poison oak and a nice sunset...

Yes beautiful second shot Prospero those HDRs do look special.
Lukas that last shot is nice but the sky just looks a bit artificial somehow to me. Can't see the rainbow, is it subtle somewhere or is my monitor on the blink?
Around every picture there's a corner & round every corner there's a picture
- the fun's in finding them

It might look funny because those colors aren't reflected off of the water. That's how the sky was though. There's no rainbow in this shot (they occur opposite the sun), but there was one at the beach that evening.
