tfa8rva, Man, that is an amazing photo. It kind of looks like an HDR. Wonderful job.

    Geoff Chandler, Thanks man.

I'm not exactly sure what mountains these are but I think they're part of the Sierra Nevada's. It was a short flight from northern to southern California. I'm really bummed that the window is so dirty:

Nice shot, beautiful colours. It's a shame that they don't clean these windows enough
Next time, you could try to use a much smaller f/stop, something like f/3,5-4, that way the DOF will be smaller (but I think enough for this situation) and the dirt in the window will not be as visible.

Damn, I didn't even think about using a bigger aperture. Thanks for the tip on next time.

Too many to comment on all of them

Mumbles - excellent view/exposure - like a silhouete that is one - love that sky and then the foreground is clear as well!!! Great job!

tfa8rva ~ this B&W shot on an old camera just proves that it's more than the camera you need for a good shot - the person behind is just as important!!
The Hollywood Rapids is wonderfull - almost like a water painting such beautifull tones.

zmikers great creative shot - really like that!!
    Great job everyone
Thanks for the kind words Geoff

Geoff, thanks for the comments. The B&W was done with a Fuji S5000. A decent camera, but it was just too noisey.

Good call. It is an HDR. If you were to look closely at the full res version, you could see that the cars on the bridge in the background don't line up, but you can't tell by what I posted. Anyhow, I appreciate the comment.

A bit clustered to me but still a wonderful photo! The deep blue and golden colors are very nice. I love the ice at the bottom of each post.

Again I don't know where else to put my photo so it's going here.

    Moss Creek:

    EXIF:
    Make: NIKON
    Model: E8700
    Shutter Speed: 32/10 second
    F Number: F/7.5
    Focal Length: 12 mm
    ISO Speed: 50

A friend of mine took me to his parents where he grew up and I must say,"that place is absolutely beautiful". There is a creek(which you can see here)and huge redwoods surrounding it.

The title isn't really the name for this creek. I'm not even sure if it has a name so I gave it that.
