    Looking good Raven!

    A few recent shots...

A boring bluebird morning, but I think this spot has some potential.

A spot I only go when I can't get anywhere else. A nice little sunset though.

This one was a fantastic sunset! Even better there was no wind, so the pools at Sutro Baths were producing some fantastic reflections.

A couple of nice ones there. I'm not a big fan of the inclusion of the leaves. I think it throws the shot out of balance.

    Another one from last night...

Yes I see what you mean now Lukas. Hadn't thought of that. Oh & I posted the other shots in the Olympus thread.

PhillD: Nice wires in that first shot! I saw a nice sun dog last evening, but didn't even bother to get out my camera due to electrical wires that there was no way to NOT include in the shot.

You have to just go with what's there sometimes. Cloning them out though would have made the bird look a bit odd.

Seems that wires get in the way of many scenes, and it's sometimes tough to get the effect/scene you want without them. But they are part of the scene. Masking them out, kind of destroys the real picture. That's why I always carry a 14 inch chainsaw...

... keeps me from having to Photoshop the shot.

Phil. I happen to be a big fan of foreground flora, and think it adds to the pictures statement (nature and nukes). On the other hand it could be a flaw in my methodology.

The bird on the wire... very nice

Lucas. Is that double pier shot from Crissy field? Very nice.

I keep having to work when we are having all of these fantastic "summer in October" sunsets.
