I agree that is a decent HDR. I happen to like the effect in moderation or when used for good exposure balance. However, to my eye the greens in foliage always get a muddy gray look to them. Of course, it could be my mild color blindness, so I am not always the best judge.

Took a quick trip to Pittsburgh for work. Great weather and I managed to squeeze in a visit to the Duquesne Incline for a few evening shots of the city below. Brought only the XZ-2 and a small REI travel tripod. Velcro'ed it to the railing of the observation area at the top of the funicular. That did not help much since the entire platform vibrated from the cable movement as the cars were being pulled. It is one of the best views of the city. Might be better in the morning since it is facing east.

That's a great view! I like the evening light with some glow off of the buildings.

Thanks Lukas. It would probably glow a bit better if there were low clouds to bounce the setting sun. The big hills to the west of downtown, where I was, really block the light. Either of the two remaining funiculars are worthwhile if you are ever in Pittsburgh.

I love that area of Pittsburgh right where the Monongahela, and Allegheny, form the start of the Ohio River. Used to grab lunch along the Monongahela (Hermitage Trail) when there on biz. Never took the Duquesne Incline, but managed to take the Monongahela Incline (on a very rainy/foggy day).

A beautiful shot Ken. Definitely a framer... and a postcard.
