Not sure if I consider this a landscape, but I'm saying it's close enough. Taken with my 400/5.6. Bought this lens thinking it'd open up a lot of new shooting opportunities when the skies aren't great. It does that but it also creates a bunch of new problems.

I was sure I posted this: It looks like Lorien from the Lord of the Rings, though it might need slightly more mystical processing.

Yup that is pretty mystical. Don't have that setting on my computer.

Was there supposed to be an image?

Not much of a LOTR guy, so I had to look that one up. I like it though. Might be the source of an image title.

A redo of last weekends shot, waking up an hour earlier this time (but still not arriving quite early enough.... darn longer days and no coffee). The weather was colder resulting in ice and wind which spoiled the reflection... need to try again .

Always nice when the heavens cooperate. Sometimes a distorted reflection works just as well. Definitely a couple of keepers/framers.

Danwiz, about time for Hanami. Wish I was there. Really miss going to Japan a few times a year.
